A whole meal, in your own words.
Describe foods and portions together. Review the results as a group, then save them to one meal.
Nutrition lookup needs an internet connection and a paired service. Local food logging works offline.
“Two pancakes, two boiled eggs, and a small glass of orange juice.”
Review each food, adjust a portion, then save the meal.
Illustrative food and nutrition estimates, not a live lookup.
A personal journal.
In the literal sense.
Your saved meals live on your device. When you choose nutrition lookup, the food description or photo goes to your connected service. Your whole journal doesn’t go with it.

A few things
worth knowing.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
A beta invitation code unlocks the free Android download. No account or payment is needed for local logging. Nutrition lookup requires a separate pairing code. Paid access is being considered for a future release; pricing has not been set.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
You can log and review your saved food offline. Nutrition requests and app updates need an internet connection, using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
How accurate are the nutrition estimates?
AI results are estimates. A photo cannot measure a portion or identify every ingredient. Check the food, portion, and nutrition, and edit the result before saving. Tallyspoon is a journal, not medical advice.
Can I move my journal to another device?
Export a journal backup in Settings, then import it on a compatible installation. Automatic account sync is not connected in this Android preview. Save a backup before uninstalling the app.
How do I get help during the preview?
Contact the person who shared Tallyspoon with you. They can help with setup, provide a nutrition pairing code, and pass your feedback to the creator.
